Relieve Financial Hardship
To relieve the financial hardship of residents of Epping Forest District and surrounding areas by supplying, safe, clean furniture and tested household appliances at a discounted price to those who are in receipt of certain benefits, and by supplying free furniture, bedding, linens, crockery and cutlery to those in severe financial hardship who are referred to us by relevant agencies.
This will be financed from surpluses from selling donated furniture, appliances and other miscellaneous household goods at a competitive price to the general public
Protect The Environment
To protect and preserve the environment by re-using furniture, appliances, and equipment that might otherwise have been consigned to landfill, thereby also reducing the financial cost of waste disposal to local council taxpayers.
Training and Work Experience
To advance education by the provision of training and work experience opportunities for staff, volunteers and currently unemployed jobseekers.
